Multiple Vehicle Collision on MD 194
At 5:26 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident south of Stauffer Road on MD 194.
Chief 2 was already on the scene and found a multiple vehicle collision with patients still in their cars, and all cars still in the roadway. C2 established command.
Ambulance 247 arrived on the scene to start patient care. Brush 116 and Rescue 24 arrived on the scene to block traffic. The crews went to work assisting the ambulance crew with patient evaluations.
Command soon requested three additional Basic Life Support units for multiple patients. Multiple patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital.
